What exactly does Al Meer Sourcing & Cargo Company do?

We find products for you overseas and bring them to Pakistan. That covers supplier search and verification, price negotiation, quality inspection, cargo consolidation, sea and air freight, customs clearance and final delivery to your address. You deal with one company from enquiry to doorstep rather than coordinating a supplier, a freight forwarder and a clearing agent separately.

Which countries can you source from?

We work most often with China, the UAE, Turkey, Thailand and Malaysia, and we can arrange sourcing from other markets on request. Which origin gives you the best landed cost usually depends on your product category and order volume, and we will tell you honestly which one we think it is.

Do I have to import a full container?

No. Smaller orders travel as LCL, meaning your goods share a container with other shipments and you pay only for the space you occupy. We also consolidate goods from several of your suppliers into a single shipment so that even modest orders move at reasonable freight rates.

How do I know the supplier is genuine?

Before we recommend any factory we check its business licence, export history and production capacity. We then arrange samples, and inspect the finished goods before the balance payment is released. You receive photographs and an inspection report, so problems surface while the goods are still in the supplier's warehouse.

Can you tell me the total cost before I order?

Yes. Once we know the product, its HS code, the quantity and the delivery address we can quote a landed cost covering product price, international freight, customs duty, sales tax, other levies and inland delivery. That figure is confirmed before you commit, so you are not calculating your margin after the container arrives.

How long does shipping to Pakistan take?

Sea freight from China to Karachi normally runs about eighteen to twenty-eight days, with Gulf origins considerably quicker. Air freight is usually three to nine days door to door depending on origin. Add clearance and inland delivery on top, and we will give you a realistic date rather than a best case one.

Do you handle customs clearance?

Yes, and it is a core part of what we do. We classify goods under the correct HS code, prepare the invoice, packing list and supporting documents, file the Goods Declaration and clear the consignment at Karachi Port, Port Qasim or the dry ports, then arrange onward delivery.

Can I cancel or change a shipment after it has been booked?

Before the goods leave the supplier there is usually room to adjust quantity, packing or shipping mode. Once cargo has been loaded on a vessel or aircraft, changes become difficult and cancellation charges may apply. Tell us as early as possible and we will explain exactly what is still possible and what it will cost.

What happens if goods arrive damaged or short?

Any shortage or visible damage is documented at the point of delivery so a claim can be raised properly. We recommend transit insurance on every shipment, particularly sea consignments, because the premium is small relative to the value of a container.

How do I get started?

Send us a description of what you want to source or ship, along with quantity, target price if you have one, and your delivery city. You can reach us by phone, WhatsApp or the contact form. We will come back with sourcing options or a freight quotation, usually within one working day.
